A couple hours, I watched until water was yellow-green and murky and squeezed hot shirt-ball thing out without burning my hands (I think I pressed it between two bowels over ice tea container) then I put it back in to boil some more, squeeze and repeat then boil down the rest and add with a couple ice cubes and some sugar or just chill it. Warm piss is worse than cold piss, trust me...

I found that chuggin the whole thing as fast as possible gets you past it. I know the strength and characterisics of my cacti so I know that 2 foot of mine woule be significant. Very similar to eating 4-5 packs of a certain flower seed but not as edgy and sid like.

I felt no paranois, cramps, chills, lockjaw, none of that chemical dirtyness, just a smooth floating, slightly spinning and flashing wobble through about 6 hours or so.

It does take a while to come on so if you do split the serving, don't think 45 minutes later that it was bunk. Although after about 15 minutes I felt something going on, it was closer to 90 minutes before I said, oh shit that aint right and busted out laughing. Ah fuggit, drink it all down the hatch and don't type on here all night unless you like the doors.

Peace and happy travels, stay safe.

1st time was around 12 second was a little over 18, if you are 200 lbs or more blend all 24 and drink it all. If you are not sure about your tolerance drink half and wait an hour and see if you are ok to drink the rest, it is all up to the cactus. I would say 24" of mine would be more than ample for a very healthy adventure. That's at 225lbs on not fasted fairly empty stomach.

I wouldn't boil it for more than an hour. Then reduce heat to medium and start cooking off he extra water. After another 30 mins or so, remove the cactus and squeeze the hell out of it, pouring the resulting juices back in the water. You could add the cactus back in the water nd squeeze it again after more simmering but I really don' think you'll get much more out of it.

Remove the cactus and then strain the water through some cheese cloth or something similar. Let it cool. Yes, it tastes worse when it's warm. I drink it cold and PLUG YOUR NOSE.
